20 May 2014

Amstelveen – State of Art opened its second Inspiration Store in the Netherlands. The store in the Stadshart shopping centre in Amstelveen has a classic racing theme, the ultimate passion of State of Art founder and owner Albert Westerman. State of Art sells casual lifestyle collections for men.

“We are happy that we have been able to establish ourselves in the best shopping centre in the Netherlands. The store is a true experience”, proud State of Art Operational Manager Martijn Mateman explains. There is, for instance, an exclusive 1953 Porsche 356 A Coupé on display in the middle of the store between the collections. There is also a Porsche 906 body on the wall in the colours Race Legend Gijs van Lennep scored many a victory in. The Store comprises a ground and a first floor in which both consumers and retailers can be inspired by the entire collection in a special atmosphere.

Stadshart Amstelveen Shopping Centre Manager Ben Verheijen: “With the arrival of State of Art we have enhanced our range for male visitors. In the State of Art store the passion for classic Porsches has been focused on in a unique way, contributing to the experience we want to offer our visitors on a daily basis”.

On Friday 9 May, the State of Art Inspiration Store in Stadshart Amstelveen was proudly opened by Albert Westerman in the presence of Gijs van Lennep, Jan Lammers and Allard Kalff.  The shopping centre had classic Porsches on display for the entire weekend. It goes without saying that this drew quite a bit of attention. State of Art is very happy with this new location!
